Info and FAQ regarding our Macarons

What is the size of your Macarons?

Our Macarons are carefully handmade which means that the size of one Macaron can be between 3 and 4 cm diameter. If you need a specific size Macaron please get in touch. 

 

How long will they keep for?

Our Macarons remain fresh for up to 5-7 days if kept refrigerated. They are best consumed at room temperature within 2-3 days.

 

Can I have any colour I want even if I don't see it on your website?

Yes! We can make any colour Macaron you like. Just contact us and we'll be happy to speak to you about your preferred colour. Dark colours such as royal blue, navy and black are a bit more tricky to achieve.

Can I have 2 different colours?

Yes, you can! You can have 2 different colours and you can also add gold, silver, bronze, rose gold or copper on top.

What are your Macarons made of?

The Macarons shells are made with egg whites, icing sugar, caster sugar and almond powder. 

The filling is mainly a creamy natural flavoured buttercream. Sometimes we use ganache or jam.

Are all of your Macarons gluten free?

Most of our Macarons are gluten free. For the ease of our customers with food intolerances we have listed all of the ingredients contained in our macarons under each product description on our website. Here you will be able to explore our range of flavours and find the perfect macaron for you.

We recommended to contact us before placing an order and let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

We have a wide range of macaron flavours which are gluten free. So far only 3 Macaron flavours are not gluten free – Ferrero Rocher, Oreo and Gingerbread.

 

Do you have any dairy-free Macarons?

We currently offer a dairy-free vanilla or chocolate macaron. If you contact us 3-4 weeks in advance we may be able to offer other dairy-free Macaron flavours. Email us at info@majesticmacarons.co.uk

 

Are all of your Macarons vegetarian friendly?

Yes!

 

Do you have a vegan Macaron?

 I'm afraid we don't but we are working on it.

 

Can you personalise your Macarons for weddings, birthday parties or corporate events?

FAQ regarding Shipping 

 

The standard postage is £4.40. Why so much?

Macarons are delicate delicious morsels that can easily get damaged during transport if not handled carefully. We make our Macarons fresh to order and post them with Royal Mail first class signed for 1-2 days delivery service which costs £4.40. Most of the time your Macarons will arrive the next day and this means that they spend less time with Royal mail and they'll arrive super fresh ready for you to enjoy. 

This service is also tracked so you will receive a tracking number once your order has been posted. You can then check your status any time. 

Why signed for?

This will ensure the parcel is handed directly to you only, and no body else will eat your yummy Macarons. It also stops the mail person trying to push the parcel through the letter box and damage your delicious macarons.

The tracking number isn’t working. Where is my parcel?

Your tracking number is sent to you immediately after we pack and seal your box. It can take a few hours for it to get scanned and placed into the system so don’t worry if it doesn’t come up right away. 

If you are worried about where it is, Royal Mail can handle enquiries and locate. Sometimes we can help by having a look on our system but Royal mail should be the first to be contacted regarding your parcel by using your tracking number.

 

Is there space for me to write a message so my friend knows who they’re from? 

Of course! When you are at the checkout page, you will see a little box that says ‘Notes’ and you can leave a message there for us to write on the packing slip. 

 

Will you include prices in the order? 

We don’t usually include prices in the order unless requested by our customers. We know that many of our customers give Macarons as gifts so it is our standard procedure to not include any pricing or payment information.

 

Do you offer a guaranteed next day delivery service for online orders?

Our online orders are shipped with Royal Mail First Class signed for delivery within 1-2 days and while most orders do arrive the next day, this is not a guaranteed. We ask that you request your macarons 3-5 days or so earlier than you require them to ensure no disappointment following a late delivery. 

If we have the Macarons in stock you ca have the option of choosing Royal mail next day delivery guaranteed. This is £7.50.

If I want to send more gift boxes to the same address will I pay postage for each gift box ?

Postage fee is only £4.40 per address. If you want to send more gifts to the same address this will upgrade based on the weight of the package. You can contact us before placing an order to check the postage fee.

 UK posted only!

We'll make some exceptions for corporate gifts which we can post to Europe by request only. P&P fees will apply.  £12 for parcels under 1 kg. 

*IMPORTANT****

Please try to ensure that someone is in to receive your order. They will arrive with Royal mail at any time between 9-5. This is particularly important for Macaron orders. If no one is at home, the macarons will be taken to the local depot.
